Douglas Squirrel at Beaver Lake, Vancouver, BC.
Had a really inspiring day out in nature in Stanley Park at Beaver Lake today and made a new squirrel friend. When people would walk by he’d run into his home in the tree to hide then come back out when the other people were gone. I swear he was posing for the camera. So cute. I thought it was a chipmunk at first but it’s actually a Douglas Squirrel which lives in the deep woods and is half the size of the common Grey Squirrel.
