I had to take a selfie at one of the places that inspires me and my art the most…under the sea with the fish and the coral. Though you can’t see them in this photo, there are a couple of sharks over my left shoulder (on the other side of the glass).

Making some progress on this painting of the Mediterranean on the Amalfi Coast in Italy. Can’t wait to go there one day but in the meantime, I’ll dream and paint it.
I’ve been missing the Tropics a bit recently, due to months of grey weather here in Vancouver. Painting this piece gave me a reminder of that sun and warmth with that gentle tropical breeze blowing through the Palm trees.
Had a really inspiring day out in nature in Stanley Park at Beaver Lake today and made a new squirrel friend. When people would walk by he’d run into his home in the tree to hide then come back out when the other people were gone. I swear he was posing for the camera.…
